Just busy

It seems that there are not enough hours in the day at the moment, that's life.

I have a couple of pictures to share with you this is an emerald wedding card I did for Des and Betty both have been under a bit of pressure but despite being a good age bounce back beautifully.

I always try to make the box look beautiful, you can just see the punched edges.

Des had a job but managed to sneak out some wedding photos, they made a very striking couple and still do. Another milestone is due, so I'm sure to be extra busy again.

Baby Card

Watching Nikki on TV Polka doodle time

Hi everyone,
 I had a very fed up day over Easter, on my own(billy no mates).  After sitting with loads of craft stuff all around me and no inspiration I put C&C on and there was Nikki, straight down to the computer and browse through Sundae of Seasons. Low and behold inspiration floods in. See what I did

I should have been doing something more constructive, cleaning or Ironing, the things I hate most.


But for sanity sake crafting is best.









Ok so back to more fun. I have a name picture to frame and a card to make for Hannah.

Hi Everyone,

OH boy! I had all these plans and I just have not managed to achieve many of them at all.

OK list the good things.

1  I finished unit 007 in my course (PTTLS) this took 3 attempts before I got all the elements covered.

Why is learning so difficult, is it an age thing? I know was never easy for me  but I now find it hard to even understand what they want.

2 I have done both of the cards ordered for this week.

3 I have the micro teach for next week almost organised.

BUT I didn't get any cards made for the stand at The Pantry.

no mothers day cards made to sell. Oh and the list goes on.

I have thing almost organised in my new
 craft room, I came across a big medallion stamp that I couldn't resist using for a thank you card. Stampin Up inks are fab.









Here's hoping I achieve a few more items on my list today. I will post  my Little Imp Stampers project next week (it's on the List)

Hi everyone.

 This makes life so much easier. I no longer balance stuff on my knees to score or cut or anything.
I have daylight, I could keep going on but I think you have the idea.I LOVE IT

Stamp storage issues!

I still have a things to do list, some window dressing, blinds maybe. Stamp storage I need to be able to find them easier.

Dreadful Blogger

Hi Everyone
I have been missing in action. Just very busy working, you know!
that four letter word WORK.

I haven't had a lot of time to play but it's OK, when I do get time it's all the more fun.

Here are some pictures just to get us started.

These are pocket cards made with the wonderful stampin up products, this was our last project. It's a really nice card and can be adapted in lots of way.
It would make a lovely mothers day card.

















I have also been busy with my craft room and have had shelves and a work top fitted. The cabin bed reinstated
so that I have a designated work room. I have also had a huge sort out and I have no idea how I got it all in the room, plus I found some lovely things that I had forgotten. I also realized that I have so many rubber stamps that I need a better storage system for them. Any ideas?

December ALREADY!!!

Hi Everyone,

I have been so busy and as you all know the time just flies.

Some friends of mine, Sue and Lynn have a cafe in Bracebridge Heath called "The Pantry" and they have let me put a card stand in their cafe. It's wonderful because now I have an outlet for the cards that I just can't stop making. And the Pantry is wonderful, fantastic food, home made soups and lovely home made cakes. All made by Lynn's fair hand and on top of that Sue is a dab hand with the coffee machine move costa!
Well worth a visit and not just for my cards

I've also been very busy making name pictures to order for Christmas presents, I may now be classed as one of Santa's helpers

At the weekend I did a quick dash up to my Dad's in Durham, with the Christmas stuff. It was lovely to see him and he looked very well. The journey back was a bit bleak, rain through the vale of York not fun at 70 miles per hour, and you can't slow down because that is the speed of the traffic. Any how mission accomplished .

So now I had better get on with Christmas in Lincoln.
